The last day of open football practice....not too much different as you can see. Sports is my favorite thing to shoot, as you can tell, I am ready for football season to start.
Over the next few days I'll be posting a few football pictures from the University of Florida football practice. Not too many...they all start to look the same after a while. If you want to see more go to Gatorsports.com for the galleries.
Here is a post from a recent assignment with report Jack Stripling. It was just amazing to see endangered species at this conservation area north of Jacksonville. I also shot video for this assignment.....enjoy.
I really enjoy being able to go on these types of assignments. It's not sports shooting which I like best but it's a great way to spend the day shooting pictures and video. Gainesville Sun reporter Nathan Crabbe and I went to visit the Big Shoals area of the Suwannee River in White Springs for a story on low water levels. I'm posting two pics and a video..Enjoy! Later I will try to post some video and pics from a bigger project we did on the Suwannee River earlier in the summer.
Here are a few pictures from a day in the park. It's not brain surgery but a fun way to spend the day filling the pages of the newspaper on a slow day. It ran in our features section as a full photo page. I also did a video which I will try to include for your viewing pleasure...let's hope it works. I shot random pieces of footage and my co-workers Tricia Coyne and Aaron Daye arranged some music for it.
